Agnes Koh, Chief Risk Officer, Singapore Exchange
Agnes Koh was appointed Chief Risk Officer of Singapore Exchange from January 2013. She is responsible for championing and leading enterprise risk management activities across the organisation, formulating the risk framework and assessments for new products and business strategies, and managing the clearing risk of SGX’s securities and derivatives clearing houses.
In her previous role with SGX, Koh was responsible for the safety and soundness of the clearing system while improving the quality and efficiency of services provided to market participants. Prior to SGX, Koh was a Director of Solidtrack Management Pte Ltd, a management consultancy firm providing business, accounting and tax advisory services. For most of her career, Koh was at the Monetary Authority of Singapore where she was responsible for investment of foreign reserves. In particular, she managed the US portfolio and was posted to the New York office in 1988-1990.
Koh graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from the National University of Singapore. She is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
