Julien Le Noble, Independent Advisor
Julien Le Noble is an Independent Advisor with a career in the financial services industry that spans over 20 years, the majority of it spent in Asia. During this time he served in leadership positions with responsibilities for the direct management and development of global bank and exchange businesses. Most recently he was Managing Director, Head of Asia for CME Group, responsible for expanding its presence in the region, partnerships with regional exchanges, delivering a growth strategy and developing locally relevant benchmark products and services.
Before joining CME Group, Le Noble served as CEO and Representative Director, Newedge Japan between 2006 and 2010 where he led the firm’s business development and sales efforts for its Tokyo-based subsidiary. Prior to the formation of Newedge, Le Noble served as Managing Director, Head of Fimat Singapore from 2002 to 2006. He began his career in Chicago with Fimat Group in 1995, where he held leadership roles until 2000, as well as in London with Boursorama (now Selftrade), a European retail online bank broker part of Societe Generale, from 2000 to 2002.
Le Noble earned a master’s degree in economics at Universite de Nice and a post-graduate degree from Toulouse Business School. He is a US Certified Public Accountant and has served as a board member and member of the executive committee of FIA Japan, as well as a member of the Risk Management Committee and Advisory Committee of FIA Asia. Le Noble is also committed to volunteering work with various charities including the Singapore Children Society, a charitable organization which looks after the welfare of children.
